By using Furnishd, you agree to the practices described here.

We collect your email address and password when you register, your name if provided, room photos you upload, AI-generated styled images, style preferences you select, and usage and technical data collected automatically.
We use your information to create and manage your account, provide the AI room styling service, store your images in your dashboard, improve our service, send service-related communications, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
When you upload a room photo, your image is sent to OpenAI for processing via their image editing API. OpenAI processes your image solely to generate the styled output. Your images are stored securely in Supabase cloud storage. You can delete your rooms and images at any time from your dashboard.
We process your data on the basis of contract (to provide the service), legitimate interests (to improve our service and prevent fraud), legal obligation, and consent where applicable.
We share your data only with Supabase (database and file storage), OpenAI (AI image processing), and Vercel (web hosting). All providers are contractually required to protect your data. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Account data is retained while your account is active and for up to 2 years after deletion. Room photos and styled images are retained until you delete them. Usage and technical data is retained for up to 12 months.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port and object to processing of your personal data. Email privacy@furnishd.me to exercise any of these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Furnishd uses essential session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data including encrypted storage, row-level security on our database, and HTTPS throughout.
Some providers including OpenAI and Vercel are based in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the UK, appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses are in place.
Furnishd is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or within the app.
